L.A.H. Entertainment joins Peyton’s Promise to Walk against Child Abuse and Neglect

Ken “Pimp’N Ken” Abner has been added as an 11th hour speaker at Payton's Promise Walk/Run for Child Abuse Prevention on Saturday, April 20 2013, at Freedom Park.

L.A.H. Entertainment, founded by Ken, had already made a sizable financial contribution to the event but a change in schedule made him available to speak to walkers about overcoming adversity to achieve success.

Abner, who spent time in group homes as a child, desires to see all children grow into successful adults no matter what challenges they may face. One of the primary reasons he started L.A.H. Entertainment was to provide career opportunities in the creative arts for the talented but socioeconomically challenged youth around him. Participating in the Peyton’s Place Walk allows Ken to extend that vision to show the local community that the entertainment industry is about more than earning a living by making music and films.

The ultimate goal is to bring people together in ways that forgoes bonds and promotes healthy relationships.
